Chanel is hiring a Contract Fashion Sales Advisor in Paris. Deliver luxury client service and achieve boutique sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalized service to a discerning luxury clientele and develop long-term client relationships (clienteling).
  • Drive and exceed boutique sales targets through proactive selling, product knowledge and tailored recommendations.
  • Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and presentation in line with Chanel brand standards.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately and manage client data with confidentiality.
  • Participate in stock management: receiving, replenishment, inventory counts and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Collaborate with boutique team to ensure smooth daily operations, including attending product and service trainings.
  • Represent the brand professionally at all times, adhering to Chanel standards of discretion, grooming and conduct.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably 1–2 years in luxury fashion or premium brands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative, service-oriented approach and strong clienteling ability.
  • High level of product knowledge and aesthetic sensibility appropriate to a luxury fashion boutique.
  • Professional presentation, discretion and ability to uphold brand standards.
  • Fluent French; professional command of English is highly desirable.
  • Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience

Typically 1–2 years of retail sales experience, ideally within luxury fashion or an upscale boutique environment; demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and delivering high-touch client service.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certificate in retail, fashion or luxury service is a plus.
