Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the fashion events strategy and VIP client (VIC) programming for Switzerland, ensuring alignment with global brand initiatives and seasonal product launches.
- Plan and deliver high-touch runway presentations, private viewings, trunk shows, client salons and experiential activations, from concept through onsite execution and post-event follow-up.
- Curate VIP guest lists and manage personalised invitations, RSVPs, seating and hospitality to deliver an exceptional client journey and reinforce long-term loyalty.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Retail, CRM, Marketing/Communications, PR and Creative teams to integrate merchandising, storytelling and press initiatives into events.
- Select and manage external suppliers (production, catering, AV, talent), negotiate vendor contracts and control event budgets to achieve commercial and brand objectives.
- Lead onsite teams and external crews, oversee run-of-show, risk management and client concierge services to guarantee flawless execution and brand-standard presentation.
- Measure event performance and VIP engagement through post-event reporting, qualitative client feedback and KPI tracking; propose optimisations to increase retention and spend.
Qualifications
- Proven background in luxury fashion, hospitality or high-end events management with demonstrable success producing VIP-facing activations.
- Strong clienteling sensibility, exceptional interpersonal skills and a service-first mindset suited to high-net-worth clientele.
- Excellent organisational capability, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing event budgets, negotiating supplier contracts and delivering measurable ROI.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel within the region as required.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years delivering high-profile events or VIP client programmes within luxury fashion, premium hospitality or experiential marketing, with direct responsibility for end-to-end event delivery and cross-functional coordination.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in events management, hospitality, marketing, communications or a related discipline; relevant professional training in event production or luxury retail is advantageous.
