Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor in San Francisco, CA to deliver bespoke client service and drive boutique sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, bespoke client experiences consistent with Chanel’s standards of service and discretion.
  • Develop and sustain long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling, appointment management and personalised follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed boutique sales targets while maximising basket value and conversion.
  • Maintain impeccable visual merchandising and product presentation, executing in-store displays and seasonal floor sets.
  • Manage transactions, returns and cash handling using the boutique POS system and ensure accurate daily reconciliation.
  • Maintain up-to-date product and brand knowledge across apparel, leather goods, accessories and fragrances.
  • Coordinate and support client events, private viewings and trunk shows as required.
  • Support inventory control, stock replenishment and loss-prevention procedures to preserve product integrity.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail or premium fashion sales, preferably within an international maison or high-end boutique.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for building trust and rapport with high-net-worth clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales KPIs and to drive personalised selling strategies.
  • Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail for merchandising and presentation.
  • Reliability, discretion and professional poise appropriate to a luxury environment.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury or premium retail sales, with a demonstrable history of client development and achieving sales targets in a boutique environment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or coursework in fashion, retail, business or a related discipline preferred.
