Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalised client service that reflects Chanel’s brand standards and drives sales in a high-traffic airport environment.
- Proactively manage clienteling activities to build and maintain long-term relationships and a loyal client base.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through expert product knowledge and consultative selling.
- Maintain merchandising, visual standards and fixture presentation to the brand’s specifications for product categories sold in travel retail.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, handle payments and ensure compliance with duty-free and travel-retail procedures.
- Support inventory control activities including stock replenishment, receipting, and loss-prevention measures.
- Collaborate with the boutique team and management to ensure smooth store operations, shift handovers and effective communication.
- Adhere to security, customs and airport operational policies while providing an unobtrusive, efficient client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven customer-facing experience in luxury retail or travel retail; airport experience is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets through consultative selling and client development.
- Excellent personal presentation and a professional demeanour consistent with luxury-brand expectations.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays to align with airport trading hours.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to comply with airport access and security requirements.
- Strong numeracy and ability to operate POS systems accurately.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of experience in luxury retail or travel retail, with preference for candidates who have worked in high-volume or airport boutique environments and demonstrated sales performance.
Education
Secondary education; vocational qualification or coursework in retail, fashion, or sales is advantageous.
