Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high‑calibre client service to an international and high‑net‑worth clientele, cultivating long‑term relationships and repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through proactive clienteling and conversion of walk‑ins.
- Manage client appointments, follow‑up communications and VIP outreach using boutique CRM and clienteling best practices.
- Present merchandise with immaculate visual merchandising standards and ensure the boutique reflects Chanel’s aesthetic and brand integrity.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock replenishment, and ensure secure handling of high‑value merchandise.
- Execute point‑of‑sale transactions, returns and aftersales with discretion and adherence to company policies.
- Support promotional initiatives, product launches and private events to maximise client engagement and sales.
- Uphold compliance with loss‑prevention procedures, internal controls and brand confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience in a luxury or premium brand environment; demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a service‑oriented demeanour suited to a discerning clientele.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- Ability to present and communicate product heritage and technical features with authority.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and to support boutique events and private client appointments.
- Professional discretion and a commitment to maintaining brand standards and client confidentiality.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of experience in luxury retail or boutique sales, with a proven record of building client relationships and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary education in fashion, retail, merchandising or business is an advantage.
