Facility Manager
Chanel seeks a Facility Manager in Seoul to oversee building operations, maintenance and vendor management for retail and office sites.

Role & Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate day-to-day operations of Chanel’s facilities in Seoul, including retail boutiques, offices and any regional service sites.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems (MEP) and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Manage third‑party vendors and service contractors: procurement, SLAs, performance monitoring and contract negotiation.
- Oversee health, safety and regulatory compliance (local building codes, fire safety, occupational H&S) and lead incident/emergency response protocols.
- Plan and deliver refurbishment and capital projects in collaboration with design, construction and property teams; manage project timelines and budgets.
- Control facilities operating budget, track expenditures, and propose cost‑efficient energy and sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate space planning, workplace services and fit‑out requirements for retail and corporate environments.
- Maintain accurate facilities documentation, asset registers and maintenance logs; prepare regular operational reports for regional leadership.
- Liaise with security, IT and retail operations to ensure uninterrupted business continuity and superior client experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, mechanical/electrical engineering, architecture or related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive facilities or building operations experience; prior exposure to luxury retail, premium hospitality or corporate campus environments preferred.
- Professional certifications such as IFMA, FMP, NEBOSH or equivalent desirable.
- Proven track record in managing MEP systems, BMS, fire safety systems and large service contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, CAPEX projects and vendor performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; fluency in Korean and strong business English are highly advantageous.
- Valid local certifications or registrations as required by South Korean regulations for building supervision or safety (preferred).

Minimum five years of hands‑on facilities or building operations management, with demonstrated responsibility for MEP systems, vendor ecosystems and capital projects; experience within luxury retail or high‑end commercial environments is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, architecture or a related technical field; professional facilities or safety certifications preferred.
