Chanel is seeking a Fabric Development Intern in Paris to support the development of fabrics for various collections. This full-time position offers opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Fabric team in the development of fabrics for Ready-to-Wear, Couture, Métiers d’art, and capsule collections.
  • Maintain organization and accurate tracking of fabric cards, rails, and research materials.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely updates and alignment on fabric and color developments.
  • Regularly update fabric cards, rails, and color-ups based on ongoing research and development.
  • Utilize Photoshop to create and edit color-ups and visual materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Proactive attitude and team spirit. Fluency in English; French proficiency is a plus.

Experience

Experience in fabric and textile sensitivity is required.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design.
