Role & Responsibilities

  • Own online merchandising and assortment strategy for Fragrance & Beauty across Chanel’s e‑retail touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency and commercial performance.
  • Plan and execute product launches, hero placements and promotional calendars in coordination with marketing, commercial and supply teams.
  • Manage on‑site content and visual standards with the CMS, working closely with creative and UX to optimise product pages, banners and imagery.
  • Monitor daily sales, inventory and replenishment for the category; translate performance data into actionable merchandising decisions.
  • Define and track KPIs (conversion, AOV, sell‑through, traffic) and produce recurring performance reports and post‑launch analyses.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing, CRM and social teams to align paid, owned and earned activities with e‑commerce merchandising.
  • Liaise with wholesale and retail merchandising to maintain pricing integrity, assortment coherence and launch cadence across channels.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and brand guidelines for product copy, claims and online assets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E‑commerce or a related discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in e‑commerce merchandising or digital retail—ideally 3+ years in beauty/fragrance or prestige consumer goods.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrated ability to use sales and web analytics to drive commercial decisions.
  • Excellent cross‑functional stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
  • High standards for visual merchandising, copy accuracy and brand presentation; meticulous attention to detail.

Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E‑commerce, or related field preferred.
