Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery and ongoing operation of digital IT systems for Korea: e‑commerce, mobile, CMS and customer‑facing integrations.
  • Define and execute IT strategy for digital platforms in close coordination with global IT, regional business leads and commercial teams.
  • Manage a cross‑functional local IT team and external vendors, including recruitment, performance management and capacity planning.
  • Own platform stability, performance monitoring, incident management and SLA adherence for digital services.
  • Drive projects for platform upgrades, integrations (ERP, CRM, payment gateways) and feature releases using agile delivery practices.
  • Ensure security, compliance and data governance for digital systems in partnership with global information security teams.
  • Control digital IT budgets, vendor contracts and procurement for regional initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and prioritize roadmap based on ROI and operational risk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant IT experience with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or technical lead capacity.
  • Proven experience delivering and operating e‑commerce or large consumer digital platforms.
  • Strong vendor management experience with third‑party platform and systems integrators.
  • Familiarity with information security and data privacy requirements applicable in South Korea.

Experience

At least 5 years in IT roles supporting consumer digital platforms, with demonstrable experience leading projects, managing vendors and supervising small technical teams; prior exposure to e‑commerce platform migrations or large integrations is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (PMP, ITIL) preferred.
