Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Boutique Head in day-to-day management of boutique operations, ensuring adherence to Chanel merchandising and service standards.
  • Lead, coach and develop a multi-disciplinary sales team to deliver outstanding client experiences and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Drive clienteling activities including VIP relationship management, appointment scheduling and personalised follow-up to maximise retention and wallet share.
  • Oversee visual merchandising, store standards and product presentation to preserve brand image and promotional execution.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving and loss-prevention procedures in coordination with regional operations.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, local promotional planning and performance reporting for the boutique.
  • Act as Boutique Head in their absence, making operational decisions and liaising with regional management and support teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail with progressive responsibility; prior supervisory or assistant manager experience in fashion boutiques preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and lead teams in a high-service, sales-driven environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing KPIs.
  • Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills, with a polished presentation appropriate to the Chanel clientele.
  • Fluency in English; additional local language skills (Cantonese, Mandarin) are advantageous.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of experience in luxury or premium fashion retail, including at least 2 years in a supervisory, assistant manager or deputy boutique role with responsibility for team performance and operational oversight.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, Retail Management or equivalent professional experience preferred.
