Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis and understanding of business needs and Product Owner requirements.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.
  • Retrieve data using SQL and Azure Data Factory.
  • Clean and calculate KPIs using Databricks and Synapse.
  • Write measures and calculated columns with DAX.
  • Optimize reports and queries using PowerQuery and DAX.
  • Execute data retrievals through SQL queries.
  • Create visualizations using PowerBI when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an engineering school or equivalent higher education program.
  • First experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Interest in the luxury and/or cosmetics industry.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and proactive.
  • Comfortable navigating complex organizations with multiple stakeholders.

Skills

Proficiency in SQL and database management. Familiarity with cloud data architectures. Experience with Databricks, Spark, and PySpark. Knowledge of Synapse and PowerBI, including DAX and PowerQuery. Understanding of OLAP modeling and data warehousing concepts. Strong data processing aptitude and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis is a plus.

Experience

A first experience in data engineering or a related field is required.

Education

Enrollment in an engineering school or equivalent higher education program.
