Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Chanel counter within a department store or boutique environment, ensuring brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines are rigorously maintained.
  • Drive sales performance through proactive clienteling, personalised consultations and targeted selling initiatives to achieve KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Recruit, train, coach and develop counter staff; conduct performance reviews, set individual objectives and maintain high levels of product knowledge and service.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment, loss prevention and merchandising resets in coordination with store and regional teams.
  • Oversee transactional accuracy and cash handling procedures using POS systems; prepare sales and KPI reports for the regional manager.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, manage bookings for private consultations or beauty services, and handle escalated client enquiries with discretion.
  • Collaborate with regional management and the broader retail network on promotions, launches and experiential events to maximise reach and conversion.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail management experience, ideally within luxury beauty or fashion brands.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in recruiting, coaching and developing frontline teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with aptitude for high‑touch clienteling and relationship building.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak periods.

Experience

Education

High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
