Chanel is hiring a Counter Manager in Kleinburg, Ontario — lead the luxury beauty counter, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the Chanel beauty counter, ensuring impeccable client service and adherence to brand standards.
  • Drive sales performance to meet and exceed individual and counter KPIs through targeted clienteling and merchandising strategies.
  • Recruit, coach and develop counter staff; deliver product training and performance feedback to sustain a high-performing team.
  • Oversee merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory controls and loss-prevention procedures in collaboration with store leadership.
  • Manage scheduling, administrative tasks, and reporting (sales, KPIs, stock movements) to the district/area manager.
  • Plan and execute in-store client events, product launches and bespoke client experiences to deepen loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Ensure compliance with Chanel visual merchandising guidelines, health & safety regulations and POS/transaction procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail or prestige beauty, with a track record of delivering consistent sales results.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience, including team leadership, recruitment and coaching.
  • Deep product knowledge of cosmetics and fragrances or demonstrable aptitude to acquire expertise rapidly.
  • Excellent clienteling and relationship-building skills with high standards of discretion and service.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.

Experience

Minimum three years in luxury retail or prestige beauty, including at least one year in a supervisory or managerial role responsible for achieving sales targets and developing retail teams.

Education

High school diploma required; post-secondary diploma or certificate in business, retail management, cosmetology or esthetics preferred.
