Counter Manager (Beauty)
Chanel in Montreal seeks a Counter Manager (Beauty) to lead the Chanel counter, drive sales and deliver exceptional luxury client service.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the Chanel counter, ensuring an exceptional luxury client experience and compliance with brand standards.
- Drive and exceed sales targets through proactive clienteling, VIP relationship development and personalised consultation.
- Recruit, coach and mentor counter staff; manage schedules, performance reviews and professional development plans.
- Oversee merchandising, product presentation and visual standards to maintain impeccable in-store aesthetics.
- Manage inventory, replenishment and stock accuracy in coordination with store and distribution teams; ensure loss-prevention protocols.
- Plan and execute client events, product launches and appointment-based services in collaboration with boutique management and marketing.
- Prepare regular sales and KPI reports, analyse performance trends and recommend corrective actions to optimise revenue and conversion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury beauty/cosmetics retail with progressive responsibility; prior counter management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing high-value client relationships.
- Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and motivating small retail teams in a luxury environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished, service-led approach appropriate for VIP clientele.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and to represent the brand at events and activations.

Experience
Minimum three years of progressive experience in luxury beauty or cosmetics retail, including at least one to two years in a supervisory or manager role responsible for sales performance and team development.
Education
High school diploma required; post-secondary training in retail management, business, cosmetology or a related discipline is an asset.
