Role & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day sales support across Chanel beauty counters and boutiques within Queensland, delivering exceptional client service and building long-term client relationships (clienteling).
- Drive sales and achieve defined KPIs through product demonstrations, personalised consultations, and expert recommendations in makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Maintain and elevate in-store visual merchandising and product presentation to Chanel standards, including seasonal resets and promotional installations.
- Manage stock movements, replenishment and accurate record-keeping; liaise with store management to monitor inventory and returns.
- Act as brand ambassador by delivering consistent product knowledge training and on-floor coaching to temporary or store-based staff when required.
- Provide cover for absenteeism and peak-period demand, adapting quickly to different store environments and team dynamics.
- Report on daily sales activity, client feedback and market intelligence to regional management; escalate product or service issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven sales experience within luxury beauty, cosmetics or premium fragrance retail environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding retail KPIs.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to travel between counters within Queensland and to work varied retail hours including weekends and evenings.
- Professional presentation and thorough product knowledge in makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Current driver's licence and access to reliable transport preferred (for multi-store coverage).
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of luxury beauty or premium cosmetics retail experience, including direct, quota-driven sales; prior experience providing multi-site or relief coverage is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualification in beauty, cosmetics or retail management is advantageous.
