Chanel Seoul is hiring a Beauty Advisor Assistant to support client service, sales and merchandising on the cosmetics counter.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support senior beauty advisors in delivering personalised client consultations and product recommendations across skincare, makeup and fragrance ranges.
  • Assist with clienteling activities: appointment coordination, follow-up communications and maintaining CRM records to support retention and repeat purchase.
  • Execute sales transactions accurately using the boutique POS and follow cash-handling procedures.
  • Maintain counter presentation and visual merchandising standards, including replenishment and window/counter styling.
  • Manage stockroom tasks: receiving, labelling, inventory control and preparing products for display.
  • Prepare and sanitise testers and application tools in accordance with hygiene and brand protocols.
  • Contribute to achievement of boutique sales targets through proactive customer engagement and cross-selling.
  • Support promotional activities, product launches and in-store events as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in cosmetics/beauty is a plus.
  • Previous retail or cosmetics counter experience preferred; internships or trainee experience acceptable for entry-level candidates.
  • Legal authorization to work in South Korea.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
  • Professional presentation and adherence to luxury service standards.

Experience

Entry-level role; 0–2 years of retail or beauty counter experience preferred. Prior exposure to luxury or prestige beauty brands is an advantage.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology/beauty certification desirable but not required.
