Chanel in Paris seeks a Corporate Human Resources Apprentice (Alternance) to start Sept 2026 — support recruiting, onboarding and HR projects in a corporate HR team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day corporate HR administration including personnel file management, HR reporting and documentation updates in accordance with internal policies and French labour law.
  • Assist the recruiting team with candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination and follow-up across corporate functions.
  • Contribute to onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and compliant exit formalities.
  • Collaborate on HR projects such as talent mapping, internal mobility initiatives, learning & development logistics and employee engagement activities.
  • Prepare and maintain HR dashboards and ad hoc reports; ensure accuracy of employee data and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Liaise with payroll, legal and business partners to resolve routine queries and facilitate HR operations.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a recognised Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or equivalent, with availability for an alternance contract starting September 2026.
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate HR practices and labour law applicable in France.
  • Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to manage confidential information.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills; comfort interacting with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and aptitude for learning HRIS tools.

Experience

Previous internship(s) or practical experience in HR or administrative roles is preferred; candidates typically present 6–12 months of relevant exposure to recruitment, HR administration or project support.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline; eligible for alternance (work-study) placement.
