Commercial Director, Food & Beverage
Chanel in Mexico City seeks a Commercial Director, F&B to lead commercial strategy and P&L for Chanel and distributed brands.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for Chanel’s Food & Beverage activities across house-owned operations and distributed partner brands in the Mexican market.
- Own P&L for the F&B portfolio: set targets, manage budgets, forecast revenue, and deliver margin improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage commercial agreements with distributors, concessionaires and third-party operators; lead contract negotiations and partnership governance.
- Drive assortment, pricing, promotions and trade marketing to optimise sales across channels (owned venues, wholesale, and partner locations).
- Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, legal, supply chain and finance to ensure brand consistency, regulatory compliance and exceptional guest experience.
- Establish KPI frameworks and reporting cadence; use analytics to identify growth opportunities and inform commercial decisions.
- Recruit, mentor and lead a small commercial team and external consultants; define roles, objectives and performance metrics.
- Identify and evaluate new business models, retail concepts, and strategic partnerships to expand the F&B footprint and reinforce brand positioning.
Qualifications
- Proven senior commercial leader with experience in luxury, hospitality, F&B or premium consumer goods.
- Demonstrable track record in P&L ownership, contract negotiation with distributors/partners, and multi-channel commercial management.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience in forecasting, KPI-driven decision making and budget management.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Availability to travel regionally as required.
Skills
Experience
Typically 8+ years of progressive commercial experience with at least several years in a senior or director-level role, ideally within luxury goods, hospitality, or premium F&B. Proven experience managing distributor networks and multi-brand portfolios is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
