Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients within the Selfridges environment, delivering discreet, personalised luxury service at all touchpoints.
- Manage appointments, private consultations and clienteling activities to cultivate long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Present product knowledge across Chanel categories, advise on styling and usage, and demonstrate product benefits with confidence.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping in CRM tools.
- Achieve individual and boutique KPIs through proactive selling, cross-selling and follow-up communications.
- Maintain visual standards of the Chanel area within Selfridges, ensuring displays and merchandising reflect brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with Selfridges staff and Chanel regional teams for events, trunk shows and special client experiences.
- Capture and escalate client feedback, requests and VIP needs promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Professional presentation with a polished, client-focused demeanour suitable for a luxury environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport and trust with high-net-worth clients.
- Proven ability to manage appointments, follow up on leads and maintain CRM records.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a department store concession model and to adapt to brand standards.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ years’ experience in luxury retail or client-facing roles; prior experience within a department store concession or premium boutique is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, hospitality or fashion is advantageous but not mandatory.
