Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute client development and clienteling strategies to acquire, retain and grow high-value clientele in the Palo Alto region.
  • Manage and deepen relationships with VIP and private clients through personalised outreach, bespoke service and tailored events.
  • Collaborate closely with boutique leadership, sales advisors and CRM teams to ensure consistent client journeys and conversion of opportunities.
  • Leverage CRM data to segment clients, prioritise outreach, forecast sales and report on KPIs against revenue and retention targets.
  • Plan and deliver client-facing events, private viewings and experiential activations in partnership with marketing and store operations.
  • Coach and enable boutique teams on client engagement best practices, product knowledge and relationship-building techniques.
  • Develop bespoke propositions (personal shopping, trunk shows, private appointments) to drive spend per client and loyalty.
  • Monitor market and competitive activity locally to inform client strategies and identify new high-potential prospects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, luxury brand management or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven track record building and managing relationships with high-net-worth or VIP clients in luxury retail or services.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and retention targets through strategic client development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience using CRM systems to drive personalised client outreach and to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for events and client appointments.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in luxury retail, client development or private client management, including direct responsibility for VIP portfolios and measurable sales performance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in business, marketing, hospitality, or luxury brand management.
