Client Development Manager
Chanel seeks a Client Development Manager in Boston to lead VIP client strategies and grow local clientele.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design and execute client development and clienteling strategies for the Boston market to drive acquisition, retention and spend among high-value clients.
- Manage day-to-day relationship management for VIP and prospective clients, including bespoke outreach, personalized follow-up and appointment management.
- Coordinate with boutique leadership and sales teams to align merchandising, in-store experiences and staffing with client development objectives.
- Plan and deliver client events, private appointments and trunk shows to strengthen client engagement and generate incremental revenue.
- Analyze client and sales data to produce actionable insights, forecasts and regular performance reporting for regional leadership.
- Coach and mentor boutique staff on clienteling best practices, segmentation, and cross-selling to elevate service standards and conversion.
- Collaborate with regional CRM, marketing and e-commerce teams to integrate digital and in-store client journeys and loyalty initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven luxury retail experience with a focus on client development, clienteling or CRM in a premium or luxury brand environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with high-net-worth clients and to deliver discreet, high-touch service.
- Experience leading or coaching retail teams; strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Track record of using client data to drive commercial outcomes and producing clear performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to work a retail schedule including evenings and weekends and to travel locally for client events.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years of experience in luxury retail or premium goods, with at least two years focused on client development, CRM or VIP relationship management; prior leadership or coaching responsibility preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail.
