Chanel in Paris seeks a Fashion Sales Advisor (CDD) at 31 Rue Cambon — deliver exceptional client service and drive sales for the maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service and develop long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets while maximising average transaction value and conversion rates.
  • Present and advise clients on the fashion collection with authoritative product knowledge and styling expertise.
  • Maintain boutique visual and merchandising standards consistent with Chanel brand directives and seasonal directives.
  • Manage stock operations, including inventory control, receiving, replenishment and housekeeping of the sales floor.
  • Coordinate client appointments and private viewings; support after-sales service and client records maintenance.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately and follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Collaborate with the boutique team to share market feedback, participate in training and contribute to peak selling initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven aptitude for luxury client service with polished interpersonal skills and a professional presentation.
  • Strong commercial orientation with demonstrable ability to meet sales targets and convert high-value clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of fashion product categories and an aptitude for visual merchandising.
  • Availability for retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods; eligible to work in France.
  • Fluent French; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and maintaining accurate client records.

Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury retail, high-end fashion or a premium boutique environment with a proven sales track record and client relationship management.
