Chanel London seeks a Fixed Term Contract Fashion Advisor at New Bond Street — deliver bespoke client service and drive luxury sales in a flagship boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding, bespoke client service to high‑net‑worth and local customers, managing appointments and in‑store consultations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Prospect, nurture and convert client relationships through active clienteling and CRM activity to achieve individual and store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain expert product knowledge across ready‑to‑wear, accessories, leather goods and beauty; advise clients on styling, fit and product provenance.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems accurately, complete transactions, process repairs/alterations and ensure meticulous after‑sales follow‑up.
  • Ensure boutique presentation and visual merchandising meet Chanel standards; manage stockroom organisation, replenishment and loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Support in‑store events, trunk shows and private appointments; collaborate with the boutique team to share market intelligence and client feedback.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with discerning clients; polished personal presentation and professional demeanour.
  • Strong sales orientation with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a retail or client‑facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; tact, discretion and cultural sensitivity when dealing with high‑value clients.
  • Numerical accuracy and experience handling cash and card transactions; trustworthy with confidential client information.
  • Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and during peak seasons as required by the boutique.

Experience

Typically 1–2 years of direct retail or luxury client‑facing experience is required; prior exposure to a premium or couture environment and experience with high‑net‑worth clients is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in fashion, retail management or a related discipline is advantageous but not mandatory.
