Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute routine and non‑routine analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates and finished cosmetic products following validated methods.
  • Operate and maintain instrumental platforms such as HPLC, GC, UV‑Vis spectrophotometers, titration systems and balances; perform instrument calibrations and basic troubleshooting.
  • Prepare samples and reagents, manage sampling plans and ensure traceability of all laboratory activities in compliance with GMP and internal procedures.
  • Record, validate and report analytical results accurately; contribute data to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and to technical dossiers.
  • Support stability studies, in‑process controls and release testing; participate in method transfers and validation activities under supervision.
  • Adhere to safety, chemical handling and waste disposal protocols; maintain an organized, audit‑ready workspace.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality and Production teams to resolve deviations and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in chemistry, analytical chemistry, cosmetic science or equivalent (BTS, DUT, Licence/BSc).
  • Professional working proficiency in French.
  • Hands‑on experience with analytical techniques used in cosmetics R&D/QC (HPLC, GC, UV‑Vis, titration).
  • Familiarity with GMP principles and laboratory documentation practices; experience with LIMS is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, methodical recordkeeping and the ability to work within cross‑functional teams.

Experience

Approximately 1–3 years of practical laboratory experience in analytical testing, preferably within cosmetics, personal care or related chemical industries; experience in R&D or QC environments is advantageous.

Education

BTS/DUT in Chemistry, Licence/Bachelor in Chemistry or equivalent vocational qualification in analytical/cosmetic sciences.
