Chanel — Paris (Avenue Montaigne): Internship as Cashier Host (Hôte(sse) de Caisse), starting June 2026. Luxury boutique front‑of‑house role.

Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the boutique cash register and process payments accurately across multiple payment methods (card, contactless, gift cards).
- Welcome clients at the point of sale, deliver polished front‑of‑house service and maintain a discreet, refined customer experience.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare deposit reports and ensure strict cash handling procedures and documentation.
- Support sales advisors with order processing, exchanges, receipts and client file updates in compliance with brand protocols.
- Assist with boutique upkeep: merchandising checks around the till area, replenishment of point‑of‑sale materials and maintaining a pristine presentation.
- Participate in stock intake and simple inventory tasks under the supervision of the store team when required.
Qualifications
- Eligible for an internship as part of a higher-education curriculum (school credit or training agreement required).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, polished presentation and a service-oriented demeanour appropriate to a luxury boutique.
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail and demonstrated reliability in handling cash and transactional duties.
- Availability to begin in June 2026 and to work the boutique schedule, including weekends and peak retail periods.
- Previous retail or hospitality experience is an asset but not mandatory; discreet client service experience is valued.

No prior experience is strictly required; candidates with previous retail, luxury or hospitality exposure will be prioritized.
Education
Enrolled in a recognised higher-education programme (BTS, Licence, Bachelor or equivalent) with internship placement as part of the curriculum.
