Cash Supervisor
Chanel seeks a Head Cashier in Paris (31 Rue Cambon) for a permanent position overseeing boutique cash operations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all cash operations for the 31 Rue Cambon boutique, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of daily cash and card reconciliations.
- Supervise, coach and schedule cashiers and POS operators to maintain exemplary service levels and operational consistency.
- Perform till closures, audit cash floats, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions in line with internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with company cash-handling policies, anti-fraud measures and loss-prevention procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison with store management and finance for cash-related reporting and incident escalation.
- Train new hires on POS procedures, payment protocols, and high-touch client service standards specific to luxury retail.
- Maintain secure cash storage, deposits and transportation protocols in coordination with security and banking partners.
- Contribute to a seamless client experience at point of sale through attentive service and rapid problem resolution.
Qualifications
- Proven integrity and reliability in roles involving cash responsibility.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in retail cash operations, preferably within luxury fashion or jewelry.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail with a track record of accurate reconciliations.
- Ability to train and motivate frontline staff while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years in cash management or supervisory retail roles; experience in luxury or high-end retail environments strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, hospitality or finance is advantageous.
