Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of 9 cash desk associates, conducting meetings, briefings, and personalized coaching to foster professional development.
- Ensure the team comprehends and implements Chanel's strategic vision, promoting excellence and engagement.
- Coordinate seamlessly with sales, stock, visual merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize team scheduling to meet business needs, ensuring optimal coverage.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring adherence to Chanel's excellence standards.
- Oversee and secure all payment processes, ensuring compliance and reliability.
- Execute all cash desk operations in accordance with Chanel's procedures.
- Act as a liaison for internal and legal procedures to ensure compliance and security of transactions.
- Provide personalized follow-up for key client accounts.
- Manage pending sales in close collaboration with the stock team.
- Handle sensitive customer situations and disputes with diplomacy, embodying Chanel's values.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all administrative and accounting operations related to the cash desk.
- Identify and resolve any accounting discrepancies.
- Identify areas for improvement and share recommendations with the Operations Manager.
- Actively participate in cash desk committees, sharing observations and best practices to enhance customer experience and payment processes.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a similar role within the luxury retail sector, with at least 5 years of experience in team management, sales, and product knowledge.
