Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and log customer items submitted for cleaning, maintenance and repair; produce clear condition reports and cost/time estimates for client approval.
- Coordinate repair workflows between the boutique, in‑house atelier and external specialists; schedule and track repairs to ensure timely delivery.
- Perform quality control on completed repairs, ensuring workmanship and presentation meet Chanel’s standards before client return.
- Manage inventory of repair supplies and spare parts; place requisitions and maintain accurate records of items in progress.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding repair status, timelines and aftercare recommendations; ensure a high standard of client experience and discretion.
- Maintain meticulous administrative records (work orders, invoices, tracking sheets) and contribute to boutique housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an approved alternance or apprenticeship programme (fashion, leather goods, textiles, retail operations or similar) and available to start September 2026.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity appropriate to garment and leather aftercare.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Professional demeanour, discretion with client property and confidentiality in client interactions.
- Customer service orientation with clear verbal communication and problem‑solving aptitude.
Skills
Experience
Previous exposure to retail operations or an atelier environment is advantageous but not mandatory; internship or short vocational placements in garment care, tailoring, leatherwork or boutique services will be considered favorably.
Education
Currently enrolled in a vocational or higher education programme (CAP, BTS, professional bachelor or equivalent) in fashion, leather goods, textiles, retail management or an allied discipline.
