Business Finance Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial close, consolidation and management reporting for the Korea business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes; deliver rolling forecasts and variance analysis to inform strategic decision‑making.
- Partner with commercial, merchandising and retail teams to translate business strategies into measurable financial objectives and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses and business cases to support pricing, assortment and investment decisions.
- Drive cost control, margin improvement and inventory profitability initiatives through detailed analytical insights and recommendations.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls; liaise with external auditors and corporate finance centres.
- Implement and optimise finance systems and reporting tools; lead process improvements and automation projects to increase efficiency.
- Coach, develop and line‑manage members of the finance team; foster a high‑performance, client‑focused finance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; master’s degree or professional qualification (KICPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and manage a small team.
- High level of commercial acumen, attention to detail and ethical standards in financial stewardship.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex analyses to senior management.

Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive finance experience with proven exposure to retail, luxury goods, or consumer discretionary sectors; minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or senior analyst role responsible for FP&A, reporting and business partnering.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Master’s degree or professional accounting/finance qualification preferred.
