Business Development Intern — High Jewellery & Watchmaking (Client Division)
Chanel — Paris: Business Development Intern (High Jewellery & Watchmaking, Client Division). Internship starting July 2026.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Client Division of High Jewellery and Haute Horlogerie in daily client-facing operations and business development activities.
- Maintain and update client files and CRM data to ensure accuracy of contact information, purchase history and client preferences.
- Prepare sales reports, dashboards and KPI tracking to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Coordinate client appointments, manage internal logistics for viewings and trunk shows, and liaise with cross‑functional teams (retail, product, operations).
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify business opportunities and assist in the preparation of client proposals and presentations.
- Assist with the organisation and execution of client events, VIP appointments and follow-up communications with high-net-worth clients.
- Deliver meticulous administrative support including expense tracking, scheduling and document preparation while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Business, Luxury Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Commercial awareness of the luxury jewellery and watch market; interest in High Jewellery and Haute Horlogerie.
- Professional discretion, cultural sensitivity and polished client-facing demeanour.
- Fluency in French and a good command of English are highly desirable.

Experience
Internship-level role; prior internships or work experience in luxury retail, jewellery, watchmaking or client services is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a university-level programme (Bachelor's or Master's) in Business, Luxury Management, Marketing or equivalent.
