Role & Responsibilities
- Support monthly close and management reporting, including consolidation of divisional results and preparation of variance analysis versus budget and forecast.
- Develop and maintain financial models and short-term forecasts to inform commercial decisions and inventory/working capital planning.
- Prepare presentations and analysis for finance business partners and senior stakeholders highlighting key KPIs, trends and risks.
- Automate and improve reporting processes using spreadsheets and BI tools; ensure data integrity across source systems.
- Execute ad-hoc commercial and financial analyses (pricing, margin, sell-through, scenario modelling) to support merchandising and retail teams.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
- Strong numerical aptitude with proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Professional maturity, discretion and the ability to communicate findings succinctly to business and finance stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship or coursework involving financial analysis, accounting, FP&A or commercial reporting is preferred. Demonstrable experience building financial models, preparing management reports or working with ERP/BI systems will be an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business (in progress or recently completed).
