Boutique Sales Trainee
Chanel — Paris: Sales Assistant Internship (Fashion Boutique) starting January 2023. Support sales, merchandising and client service in a flagship boutique.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the boutique sales team in day-to-day client service and clienteling activities, including welcoming clients and managing appointments.
- Participate in selling processes: assist during consultations, prepare product presentations and follow up on client enquiries and orders.
- Maintain boutique standards of presentation and merchandising, including window dressing and visual merchandising tasks.
- Assist with stock reception, inventory organisation and replenishment, ensuring accurate labelling and storage.
- Perform administrative tasks related to sales: POS operation support, filing, preparing sales documentation and after‑sales follow-up.
- Adhere to brand protocols for client confidentiality, product handling and store security.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in fashion, luxury management, retail, business or a related discipline.
- Impeccable personal presentation and a professional, service-oriented manner consistent with luxury retail expectations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with discerning clients.
- High levels of organisation, attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced boutique environment.
- Availability to start in January 2023 for an internship period to be agreed; eligibility for a student internship placement in France (convention de stage) is advantageous.

Experience
No prior professional experience required; previous internships or part-time experience in retail or luxury environments is a strong advantage.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed higher-education in fashion, luxury management, business, retail or a closely related field. Eligibility for a French internship agreement (convention de stage) is preferable.
