Chanel (Paris) seeks a Contract Sales Advisor for the 19 rue Cambon boutique. Fixed-term role delivering exceptional client service and driving sales.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience aligned with Chanel’s service standards; develop and maintain long-term client relationships (clienteling).
- Achieve and contribute to boutique sales targets through proactive selling, cross-selling and follow-up.
- Present merchandise with precision: execute visual merchandising directives, maintain boutique presentation and ensure stockroom organisation.
- Manage daily point-of-sale operations, process transactions accurately and support stock control and inventory procedures.
- Provide authoritative product knowledge across apparel, accessories and beauty categories; advise clients on heritage, craftsmanship and product care.
- Support boutique events and private client appointments, ensuring seamless logistics and guest hospitality.
- Ensure compliance with loss-prevention, cash-handling and corporate retail policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and boutique leadership to optimise footfall conversion and maintain operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver high-level client service with a commercial, results-oriented mindset.
- Polished personal presentation and professional demeanour appropriate for a luxury environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; discretion and the ability to handle confidential client information.
- Organisational rigour and attention to detail in merchandising and inventory tasks.
- Flexibility in schedule to support peak retail hours, events and occasional weekend work.
- Legal right to work in France for the duration of a fixed-term contract.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably within luxury retail or a flagship boutique environment, with demonstrable success in client acquisition and retention.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in retail, fashion or luxury sales are advantageous.
