Chanel in Paris seeks a Fashion Advisor Assistant — support client advisors, merchandising and boutique operations for a luxury retail role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support senior Fashion/Client Advisors in delivering personalised client experiences, including greeting clients, preparing appointments and following up post-visit.
  • Assist with transactional activity at the point of sale, including accurate processing, returns, and cash handling in accordance with brand procedures.
  • Maintain boutique presentation to Chanel standards through visual merchandising, stock replenishment and daily floor readiness.
  • Manage inventory tasks such as receiving, tagging, stock counts and organising back-of-house storage to ensure merchandise integrity.
  • Contribute to clienteling activities by updating client profiles, scheduling consultations and supporting targeted outreach and events.
  • Collaborate with the boutique team on local promotions, launches and store events to drive sales objectives and brand positioning.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, client-facing manner.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and high standards of presentation consistent with luxury retail.
  • Basic numeracy and proven reliability handling transactions and inventory tasks.
  • Ability to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak promotional periods.
  • Fluency in the local market language is preferred; additional languages are an advantage where relevant.

Experience

Typically 0–2 years of retail or luxury sales experience; prior boutique or high-end customer service exposure preferred.

Education
