Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily boutique operations for the Watches & High Jewellery department, ensuring flawless execution of brand standards across sales floor, private salons and back‑of‑house.
- Manage, coach and develop boutique staff to deliver exceptional client experience and to meet individual and store sales targets.
- Ensure visual merchandising and product presentation comply with global guidelines and seasonal directives.
- Own inventory control: receive and inspect deliveries, manage stock movements, execute periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Drive clienteling activities and effective use of CRM to build and maintain high‑value client relationships and appointment pipelines.
- Coordinate private appointments, client events and product launches in liaison with regional offices and marketing teams.
- Administer cash handling, invoicing, warranty and after‑sales processes, while enforcing loss‑prevention and compliance procedures.
- Monitor sales KPIs and produce regular operational reports; recommend corrective actions to optimise performance and profitability.
- Manage staff scheduling, operational rosters and day‑to‑day administrative tasks to ensure seamless boutique functioning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role; experience in watches or fine jewellery retail strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable leadership and people‑management skills, including coaching and performance development.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and to cultivate long‑term relationships with high‑value clients.
- Strong numeracy and organisational skills for inventory control, cash management and KPI analysis.
- Impeccable professional presentation, discretion and adherence to brand confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with retail POS and CRM systems is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and special events.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of progressive experience within luxury retail, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity; prior exposure to watches and high jewellery retail operations is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Luxury Brand Management or equivalent professional experience.
