Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily back‑of‑house operations including receiving, processing and reconciling deliveries; maintain accurate stock records and bin locations.
  • Execute inventory control procedures — cycle counts, stocktakes, discrepancy investigations and variance reporting to minimise loss and ensure product integrity.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems and perform cash handling, end‑of‑day reconciliation and basic financial reporting with strict adherence to brand policies.
  • Support visual merchandising and floor readiness by preparing merchandise, replenishing displays and collaborating with the store team to uphold brand presentation standards.
  • Coordinate with logistics, distribution and regional operations teams to schedule shipments, returns and repairs while ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Maintain client records and assist the sales team with clienteling tasks, appointment logistics and order fulfilment when required.
  • Implement and enforce loss prevention, security and compliance procedures in line with Chanel’s standards.
  • Prepare operational documentation and administrative reports, and assist with ad‑hoc projects to optimise store efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in retail, hospitality or luxury brand management preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in retail operations or boutique administration, preferably within a luxury or premium fashion environment.
  • Strong numerical acuity and experience with inventory control and stock reconciliation procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to prioritise multiple operational tasks in a fast‑paced boutique setting.
  • Discretion, professionalism and a client‑centric mindset aligned with luxury service standards.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail periods.
