Boutique Cashier
Chanel — Boutique Cashier (CDI) in Paris. Permanent role on Avenue Montaigne handling POS transactions, cash reconciliation and luxury client service.

Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) accurately and securely, processing cash, card and contactless payments as well as refunds and exchanges.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation, drawer balancing and end-of-day reporting in accordance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Deliver discreet, personalised client service consistent with the brand’s luxury standards during transactions and at all client touchpoints.
- Detect and prevent potential fraud or suspicious payment activity; escalate incidents according to store security procedures.
- Support store opening and closing protocols, safe drops and secure handling of high-value receipts and documents.
- Collaborate with sales colleagues and store management to ensure seamless client journeys and accurate sales administration.

- Proven trustworthiness and a strong sense of integrity when handling cash and confidential client information.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail, especially under busy retail conditions.
- Polished interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver service with discretion and professionalism.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, according to store needs.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow strict operational procedures.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury or premium boutique environment with responsibility for point-of-sale transactions and cash handling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail or hospitality is advantageous.
