Join Chanel in Paris as a Billing Specialist. This full-time role involves managing the billing process within a dynamic luxury fashion environment.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete billing process from information collection to invoice tracking and control, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
  • Prepare invoices and create supplier accounts.
  • Collect quotes from Image Producers and issue purchase orders.
  • Enter and verify billing data using the Coupa management tool.
  • Ensure invoice compliance, correcting anomalies and issuing credit notes as necessary.
  • Monitor billing progress and liaise with the Accounting department for unpaid invoices or discrepancies.
  • Maintain billing tracking dashboards in collaboration with Image Producers.
  • Conduct weekly reviews with Image Production Managers.
  • Participate in budget closure activities with Image Production Managers and the Finance Department.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bac +2 education in accounting, management, or administration (e.g., BTS Comptabilité-Gestion, DUT GEA).
  • Initial experience in a billing or client accounting department.

Skills

Proficiency in office tools such as Excel and Word. Knowledge of billing software (e.g., SAP, Sage, Cegid, Coupa, Baseware). Understanding of general and analytical accounting principles. Familiarity with VAT rules and legal billing requirements. Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information. Strong organizational skills and deadline adherence. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities. Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience

At least one year of experience in billing or client accounting is required.

Education

Bac +2 in accounting, management, or administration.
