Beauty Sales Associate

Role & Responsibilities

• Support senior beauty advisors in client consultations and product demonstrations, including makeup application and skincare regimens.
• Greet and qualify clients, build rapport and assist with clienteling activities to cultivate long‑term relationships and repeat business.
• Maintain boutique presentation standards: merchandising, replenishment, stock rotation and upkeep of testers and displays.
• Process sales transactions, manage POS operations and assist with basic cash handling and daily reconciliation when required.
• Manage inventory tasks including receipt of goods, stock counts and appropriate documentation for transfers and returns.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, product safety and luxury service protocols; maintain a polished personal and boutique appearance.
• Contribute to local promotional activities, product launches and in‑store events as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in cosmetology or beauty therapy is an asset.
• Customer‑facing retail experience, ideally within beauty or luxury fashion (internships or seasonal roles acceptable).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrable client service orientation and ability to work in a target‑driven environment.
• Flexibility for retail hours including weekends and public holidays; reliable punctuality and professional presentation.

Experience

Entry‑level retail experience preferred; candidates with 0–2 years in beauty, cosmetics, or luxury retail environments are suitable. Experience supporting sales teams and executing in‑store merchandising is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or certificate training in cosmetology, beauty therapy or related fields is desirable.
