Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high‑touch client service to customers at the Parfums & Beauté counter within Douglas, consistently reflecting luxury brand standards.
- Provide expert fragrance and cosmetics consultation including product demonstrations, make‑up application and tailored recommendations.
- Drive sales performance and meet or exceed individual and counter KPIs through active clienteling, follow‑up and conversion of walk‑ins.
- Maintain premium visual merchandising and stock presentation; execute launches, promotions and in‑store marketing directives.
- Operate point‑of‑sale systems, process transactions, handle cash and returns in compliance with store policies.
- Manage inventory control, participate in stock counts and ensure timely replenishment of merchandise.
- Participate in brand training, team meetings and product education to sustain up‑to‑date product knowledge and technical skills.
Qualifications
- Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills appropriate to a luxury retail environment.
- Proven ability to consult and sell fragrance and cosmetic products with a client‑first approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for merchandising, stock management and cash handling.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak shopping periods.
- Fluency in German is strongly preferred; additional languages are an asset.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in beauty, perfumery or luxury retail counter sales is preferred; demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and building repeat client relationships is an advantage.
Education
Secondary education; vocational training in retail, cosmetics or a related field preferred.
