Chanel in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Beauty Advisor to deliver luxury skincare, makeup and fragrance consultations at its boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised consultations across skincare, makeup and fragrance, tailoring recommendations to high‑value clientele.
  • Conduct in‑store makeovers, product demonstrations and sampling to drive conversion and enhance client experience.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets, KPIs and conversion metrics through proactive clienteling and upselling.
  • Build and maintain a CRM client book, execute follow‑up communications and organise appointments to cultivate long‑term relationships.
  • Maintain boutique presentation and visual merchandising in strict accordance with Chanel brand standards.
  • Manage inventory replenishment, stock rotation, and accurate POS transactions including cash handling and returns.
  • Remain continuously updated on product launches, ingredient knowledge and brand campaigns; participate in mandatory training.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and Chanel retail policies, including hygiene and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school completion; vocational diploma or certificate in cosmetology, aesthetics or beauty therapy preferred.
  • Authorised to work in Malaysia (right to work required).
  • Proven ability to communicate with sophistication and discretion when serving luxury clientele.
  • Demonstrable numeracy and cash‑handling integrity for POS operations.
  • Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Experience

Typically 1+ year of experience in beauty retail or as a professional makeup artist, preferably within prestige or luxury brands, with a demonstrable sales track record and experience serving a high‑net‑worth clientele.

Secondary school diploma; certificate in cosmetology, aesthetics or beauty therapy preferred.
