Beauty Assistant Intern
Chanel in Paris seeks a Beauty Advisor Intern (stage) to support client consultations, retail operations and events — internship based in Paris.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support beauty advisors in delivering personalised consultations and make-up/skincare services to clients under the guidance of senior staff.
- Assist with clienteling activities: appointment scheduling, follow-up communications and maintenance of client records.
- Contribute to achieving store sales targets through active selling, product recommendations and basket-building.
- Prepare and maintain product displays according to brand visual merchandising guidelines.
- Handle stock reception, replenishment and basic inventory control to ensure product availability.
- Participate in in-store events, product launches and promotional activities, providing front-line assistance.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately when required.
- Support compliance with hygiene, safety and brand presentation standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree (business, marketing, cosmetics, luxury management or similar).
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills with a professional, polished demeanour.
- High standards of personal presentation and an understanding of luxury service expectations.
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends to match retail hours and events.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented retail environment.
- Legal eligibility to undertake an internship in the role location.
Skills
Experience
Internship-level role; prior retail or beauty experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrable customer service experience will be considered a plus.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a tertiary programme in business, marketing, cosmetics, hospitality or luxury management.
