Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service in the fragrance and beauty categories, building loyalty through active clienteling and follow‑up.
- Achieve individual and store sales objectives through consultative selling and product demonstrations.
- Maintain in‑store visual merchandising and product presentation to brand standards, including replenishment and stock rotation.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately, handle transactions and manage store paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in brand and product training sessions; develop expert knowledge of fragrance notes, skincare formulations and make‑up techniques.
- Support in‑store events, product launches and sampling programmes to drive footfall and conversion.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and inventory control processes, including returns and sample management.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a recognised work‑study, alternance or apprenticeship programme in retail, commerce, cosmetics, hospitality or a related discipline.
- Strong client‑facing communication skills and a commercial mindset; ability to adapt approach to a luxury clientele.
- High standards of personal presentation and polished service etiquette appropriate to a luxury brand.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
- Basic numeracy and experience with cash handling; attention to detail and reliability.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or beauty sales experience is desirable but not mandatory; strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrable interest in cosmetics and fragrance are essential.
Education
Currently enrolled in a vocational or higher education programme compatible with a work‑study/alternance contract in retail, business, cosmetics or hospitality.
