Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver elevated, personalised client consultations for skincare and makeup, translating product expertise into tailored recommendations.
  • Achieve individual and boutique sales objectives through attentive clienteling, upselling and follow‑up.
  • Execute point‑of‑sale transactions and manage client records within the store’s CRM/POS workflows.
  • Support visual merchandising and presentation of the beauty counter to ensure brand standards and seasonal rollouts are upheld.
  • Participate in internal product and skills training; remain conversant with new launches, ingredients and application techniques.
  • Manage stock, replenishment and back‑of‑house organisation; assist with inventory controls and loss prevention.
  • Contribute to boutique events, product demonstrations and promotional initiatives to drive footfall and brand engagement.
  • Maintain exemplary grooming and professional comportment consistent with the Chanel brand.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a recognised alternance/work‑study program (beauty, cosmetics, retail, business or equivalent) commencing September 2026.
  • Demonstrable passion for luxury beauty brands and strong interest in skincare and make‑up artistry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer‑centric attitude and ability to establish rapport quickly.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and to adapt to a boutique environment.
  • High standards of personal presentation and professionalism befitting a luxury maison.
  • Prior retail, internship or beauty counter experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

No minimum professional tenure required; previous experience in luxury retail or beauty counters is desirable and will be considered an asset.

Currently enrolled in a recognised alternance/work‑study program in cosmetics, retail, business, hospitality or a related discipline.
