Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised client consultations to assess skin concerns and beauty needs, recommending appropriate skincare, fragrance and makeup solutions.
- Provide professional makeup application and product demonstrations to educate clients and drive trial conversion.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through proactive clienteling, follow-up and appointment management.
- Build and maintain an active client book using CRM or clienteling tools, recording preferences and purchase history to support repeat business.
- Maintain merchandising and visual presentation to Chanel standards, ensuring counters and displays are immaculate and fully stocked.
- Support product launches, in-store events and promotional activities, collaborating with boutique management and regional teams.
- Process transactions, manage stock replenishment and participate in inventory controls and shrinkage prevention.
- Uphold brand standards for customer experience, confidentiality and luxury retail etiquette at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid work authorization to be employed in Singapore.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or beauty/cosmetology certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Excellent grooming, presentation and communication skills; ability to represent a luxury brand with professionalism.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages (e.g., Mandarin) advantageous.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–2 years of retail or beauty counter experience is preferred, ideally within a luxury cosmetics or prestige beauty environment. Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and building repeat clientele is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification in beauty, makeup artistry or cosmetology is preferred.
