Chanel in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico seeks a Beauty Advisor (Shiseido) to deliver luxury consultations, drive sales and build client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised skincare and makeup consultations and demonstrations using Shiseido products, tailoring recommendations to clients’ needs and preferences.
  • Cultivate and retain a high-value client portfolio through proactive outreach, appointment management and bespoke aftercare.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while contributing to store KPI performance and promotional initiatives.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to brand standards, including stock rotation, sample management and display upkeep.
  • Process transactions accurately using POS systems and ensure proper handling of samples, tester hygiene and product sanitation.
  • Participate in product and sales training; share product knowledge and best practices with peers.
  • Manage inventory levels, complete receptions and transfers, and liaise with store management for replenishment.
  • Uphold Chanel’s luxury service protocol, presentation standards and loss-prevention policies at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a beauty advisor, makeup artist or cosmetics consultant within prestige or luxury retail (preferably 1–3 years).
  • Demonstrable product knowledge of Shiseido and other prestige skincare/makeup lines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative, client-focused approach.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and peak trading hours; ability to work retail shift patterns.
  • Professional presentation aligned with luxury brand standards; attention to detail and hygiene.
  • Cosmetology, beauty therapy or related certification preferred.

Experience

Experience in luxury cosmetics retail or as a dedicated beauty consultant is required, ideally with direct experience selling Shiseido or comparable prestige brands and meeting individual sales targets.
