Role & Responsibilities
- Support in-store client consultations and one-to-one beauty services, including makeup application and skincare advice under senior guidance.
- Assist with product demonstrations, sampler management and fragrance trials to drive client engagement and sales.
- Contribute to daily merchandising and maintain visual standards to reflect brand guidelines.
- Operate the point-of-sale system for transactions and assist with clienteling tasks such as booking appointments and follow-ups.
- Help manage inventory, replenish stock, and perform basic stock control and administrative tasks.
- Participate in store events, launches and promotional activities, providing operational and guest-facing support.
- Maintain impeccable presentation, hygiene and adherence to luxury retail compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the boutique team to ensure seamless client experience and support sales targets.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a higher-education program in beauty, cosmetics, retail, business or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in luxury beauty brands, cosmetics and skincare with a desire to build retail expertise.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills; confident and polished client-facing manner.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and reliability.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and peak retail periods, and ability to work in a fast-paced boutique environment.
Skills
Experience
No prior professional experience is required; previous retail, beauty counter or client-facing experience is considered an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in post-secondary education (e.g., vocational diploma, undergraduate program) in beauty, cosmetics, retail, business or a related field.
