Chanel in Paris seeks a Beauty Advisor (fixed-term) to deliver expert consultations, drive sales and uphold brand standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised beauty consultations and professional make-up/skincare applications that reflect Chanel's brand standards and client expectations.
  • Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling, clienteling and follow-up.
  • Manage product presentation and visual merchandising to maintain an immaculate, on-brand counter or boutique experience.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, perform regular inventory checks and process receipts/returns in the POS system.
  • Build and maintain a proprietary client book using CRM tools; proactively schedule appointments and follow up on client requests.
  • Participate in product launches, in-store events and mandatory brand training sessions; ensure compliance with hygiene and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cosmetics or luxury beauty retail, ideally in a premium or heritage brand environment.
  • Proven sales record with strong consultative selling and client relationship skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, polished presentation and a client-first attitude.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required by boutique operations.
  • Professional grooming and the capacity to represent Chanel’s standards of service and image.

Experience

Typically 1–2 years of direct experience in cosmetics or luxury retail; prior exposure to premium or couture beauty brands is highly desirable.
