Role & Responsibilities
- Support senior beauty advisors in client consultations, skin and make‑up diagnostics, and personalised product recommendations.
- Perform make‑up demonstrations and assist with product sampling, trials and sales conversions.
- Contribute to in‑store merchandising, stock replenishment and visual standards to ensure a luxury presentation.
- Deliver attentive clienteling: manage appointments, follow up with clients and maintain accurate client records.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale system for transactions and assist with daily cash reconciliation and administrative tasks.
- Assist with in‑store events, product launches and training sessions; uphold Chanel hygiene and compliance protocols.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a programme in cosmetics, aesthetics, luxury retail, marketing or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client‑centric attitude and polished deportment.
- Demonstrated interest in luxury beauty, make‑up techniques and product knowledge.
- Availability for a fixed‑term internship schedule, including weekends and occasional evenings.
- Authorization to undertake an internship in France (work permit or student internship agreement) is required.
Skills
Experience
Internship level; prior customer‑facing or retail experience in beauty or luxury retail is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience with make‑up application or product demonstrations will be favourably considered.
Education
Enrolment in or recent completion of a diploma/degree in cosmetics, aesthetics, business, fashion or marketing.
