Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and product demonstrations that reflect Chanel’s brand standards and client service philosophy.
- Promote and sell skincare, makeup and fragrance solutions while achieving individual and store sales objectives.
- Develop client relationships through proactive clienteling, appointment management and post-sale follow-up.
- Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation to brand guidelines, including replenishment and stock rotation.
- Operate the point-of-sale, process transactions accurately and assist with inventory management and receiving.
- Participate actively in training, brand events and team meetings to build product expertise and retail competencies.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and regulatory standards applicable to cosmetics retail.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited alternance/apprenticeship program or vocational course in cosmetics, retail, sales, business or hospitality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset and polished presentation.
- Motivation to learn luxury beauty techniques, product knowledge and Chanel’s service rituals.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Legal authorization to work in France and ability to commit to the apprenticeship contract period.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; previous retail or beauty experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate customer-facing aptitude and eagerness to develop within a luxury cosmetics environment.
Education
Current enrolment in an alternance/apprenticeship program (BTS, Licence Pro or equivalent) in cosmetics, retail, business or hospitality.
